These files give you a flavor for the sound of the pipes and the range of the types of music Tom plays. A versatile musician, Tom plays everything from dance music, to reflective pieces, to Gershwin. Tom’s focus of late has been exploring unusual harmonic relationships in his music.
The pipes heard here were made by David Quinn and Benedict Koehler. The brighter sounding set is based on a D scale and the darker sounding (also know as “flat”) set is based on the B scale.
