The Bellows Brothers

Tom has joined forces with Dan "Daddy Squeeze" Newton to create the formidable duo The Bellows Brothers. The rich, reedy textures of piano accordion and uilleann pipes cannot be beat! From jigs and reels to Gershwin to The Beatles and beyond, check out The Bellow Brothers for a diverse tour of Celtic and Continental music.

These files give you a flavor for the sound of the pipes and the range of the types of music Tom plays. A versatile musician, Tom plays everything from dance music, to reflective pieces, to Gershwin. Tom's focus of late has been exploring unusual harmonic relationships in his music.

The pipes heard here were made by David Quinn and Benedict Koehler. The brighter sounding set is based on a D scale and the darker sounding (also know as "flat") set is based on the B scale.
